There were many topics in which I could have chosen for my Hyper-media project. I thought about it very carefully and decided that I want a topic that is very educational and that my classmates, children all over the world and every-body else can learn something about. I believe that web page should contain information that is more educational than non-educational. However, now days people use web pages for unnecessary information and that many people, such as parents are worried about their children being exposed to those irrelevant information. 
My web page assignment will focus on Monarch butterflies, which are a type of butterflies that are found only in North America. I choose Monarch butterflies to be my web page assignment, because there are many interesting aspects one can learn about the monarch butterflies. First, the monarch's defense system against predators is one very important aspect we should learn. During the summer time monarch butterflies migrate north where they lay their eggs due to the presence of the Milkweed plants. 

It is very interesting for me design a web page about a topic in which I can learn how different  species can interact with one another and with their environment in order to stay alive. One of the  main reasons why I studied biology as an undergraduate was to learn more about the interaction  between species and their environment; therefore, the relationship monarch butterflies have with 
milkweeds and viceroy butterflies demonstrate well this type of interaction.
