A male school teacher aged about 45 years reported to me a big eczematous patch of the oozing type on his right hand and on the back side of his wrist. He had had it for about 10 years and had tried a lot of ointments containing chlotrimazole, cotricosteriods and antibiotics as well as grisoflavine orally with no permanent results. After recording his detailed history he was given a single dose of Sulphur-30 a homeopathic remedy. This caused the patch to disappear but it reappeared after six months. One more dose of Sulphur-200 this time made it disappear for a period of one year, only to have it reappear. After this a dose of Calcarea-30 and later Lycopodium-30 was given. This settled things permanently.
