The patient was more than 80 years old. He was treated with Homeopathy. He was given Desmodium 30 - five pills every morning and evening on an empty stomach along with Agaricus 30 - five pills twice a day. This treatment was followed by Ayurvedic treatment of Mahayogaraja Guggul 125 mgs tablets - two tablets at a time in the morning on an empty stomach. At bed time the usual pain relieving ointments containing Mephenisin and Salicylets with Camphor and Menthol were used. The patient improved within a short time.
