The patient was a female of age about 20 years, unmarried, living in a joint family with her parents, brothers and sisters.
She suddenly turned violent. Her violent was particularly directed towards her family members. She showed her anger and violence towards the immovable objects in the house also.
Her behaviour towards outsiders and even her doctors was subdued. She was dumb and was non-co-operative.
Her case was reperatorized with Kent's reperatory, laying stress on the important modality, "disordered or perverted affections".
The homoepathic remedy Aurum (gold mettalicum) was selected and administered in 200th potency.
The patient improved and became normal the next day.
