Personal Interests
- Ankylosing Spondylitis and other Arthritic
Diseases
- Having lived for over 16 years with ankylosing
spondylitis made it a natural keen interest to me. The
fact that I studied and worked in and around the medical
research field for 10 years also made it somewhat of a
professional interest as well.
-
- I try to help others and myself in spreading knowledge
and awareness about this and other related diseases both
at home, in the solid world, and in the cyberspace. I
believe that we all have a lot to gain from making this
disease more "visible".
-
- The cyberspace
- Due to my gradually increasing disability and the
limitations I face, the cyberworld has become for me an
important source of knowledge and a fantastic way to meet
, share and exchange with other persons anywhere in the
world. We do indeed live on a small planet...
-
- It's a good and fun way for me to visit the world and
meet people without even leaving my home. It's a
diversified and interesting universe that seems to know
no limits. One other thing I enjoy greatly from this
cyber universe is that it seems to reach toward a world
where we all meet as equal fellow humans. It tends to
erase differences that usually divide people or even put
them against each other. Religion, color of skin,
geographical position, nationality and many other
attributes are generally left out of the cyberspace.
