Fibrous dysplasia support page. At this
time, I think this is the only other page on the Web devoted wholly to FD. This
page went up right around the time that mine did, and it offers support for sufferers and their
families, along with lots of information and links. They have over 400 people registered with their
support group (last time I checked) and have a chat room and email listings for members.
Fibrous dysplasia links. Here's a
shortcut to the links page on the FD support page. You'll find some good links to medical foundations
and resources, including web pages and addresses to write to. It's well organized and complete, so I
decided to link to it rather than duplicate the information on my page. (And you're still encouraged
to take a look at the rest of their site!)
Bonetumor.org. I recommend this site to anyone who is unsure
of their diagnosis. Lots of information on bone tumors and lesions (FD is considered a benign tumor), as
well as other conditions that can mimic the symptoms of a bone tumor. A shortcut to the FD information
page can be found here.
