OUR HAWAII ADVENTURE, PEARL HARBOR, MARCH 1999

As a person not old enough to remember WWII or the Pearl Harbor attack, I didn't know what to expect as we drove to Pearl Harbor. It wasn't until I sat and viewed the film footage of the actual attack did I realize what actually occured that fateful day in December of 1941. I felt the loss of life, the sadness, the shock of the attack, and the fear they must have felt. And as I look around me in the theatre at the memorial, I find I am sitting among the descendants of those that were involved in the attack, but now we are partners in peace, all trying to learn what happened so long ago.

As you view these pictures, remember all those men and women who lost their lives so long ago. God rest their souls.
