The facilitation of publication
of quality articles and other materials is the aspect of the Institute
that can begin right now. Publications will be electronic, from
this website. This will be a two-way activity, in which we publish
our own materials and you get a chance ot publish yours.
In general, articles or other
documents for publication on this website must deal with transpersonal
or related issues. As a guide, we offer a list of words and phrases
that topics may be chosen from. If you are in any doubt, then
contact us by email or by post sending an abstract or synopsis.
As the editors of this "publication"
medium we reserve the right to either reject a submission outright,
or make suggestions as to how it might be modified to suit this
forum. However, we have no intention of acting as an obstacle
course, nor boasting about our high rejection rate (as so many
of the printed journals do). We do want to facilitate the
disemination of articles or other documents of quality and value.
Our publication is called The
Transpersonal Journal
. The first issue of this journal can be seen by clicking on that
name. For now, publication will be on an irregular basis, perhaps
twice a year. However, once submissions come pouring in, we will
probably shift to a regular publication period of four times per
year, following the seasons. While we will not charge for having
a submission published, we will have a subscription charge beyond
this first issue, where rate is yet to be determined. Should we publish the journal in a paper-based format, we would expect this to have a higher rate of subscription to cover printing cost (there will also be a postage charge). Overseas subscriptions will be the NZ rate times the appropriate current exchange rate.
If you wish to submit a manuscript
for publication either send it as an attachment to our email

A limited amount of space will
be made available in each publication of the journal for public
notices such as the notification of upcoming conferences, workshops
or courses. Naturally, the content of these notices must be compatible
with the aims of the Institute. A small charge will be made for
this service.
In time, depending on the rate
of development of the Institute and available resources, we may
be able to publish larger works such as textbooks, novels, poetry
and plays, where these may be either physical or on this website.
