The Reading Terminal Market, located at 12th and Arch Streets and adjacent to the Pennsylvania Convention Center, is available for private functions every evening and Sunday, except holidays. As a century old public farmers' market, it affords an old world, historic setting in a facility completely renovated and updated in 1993.

The Reading Terminal Market Merchants' Catering Company organizes and caters events in the Market. The Market can hold formal sit-down dinners for 50 to 350 people, cocktail receptions for up to 2,500, or large-scale parties for up to 4,000. The Market has been the setting for numerous social galas, and sponsored two highly acclaimed Inaugural Galas for Philadelphia's Mayor Ed Rendell, and 1,500 guests.

The Director of Special Events, Stormy Lundy, is available to work with meeting planners, groups, or individuals to plan and execute every type of event at the Market. We provide full service planning, from organizing decorating services to arranging entertainment and media services.
