This recipe was taken from Sundays at Moosewood Restaurant cookbook.
Ingredients:
1 bottle dry red wine
Heat the wine with the sugar, cloves, cinnamon and orange slices, stirring occasionally
to dissolve the sugar. When the sugar has dissoved and the wine is hot, but not boiling,
remove it from the heat and add the cognac or rum. Let sit for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
3 Tblsp sugar
4 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
1 orange, sliced into rounds
2 Tblsp cognac or rum
