This recipe was taken from the book Cooking the Austrian Way.
Ingredients:
1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled
place the fruit in a bowl with the juice and slivers of orange peel. Sprinkle with sugar and stir
together. Pour on the wine and place in a refrigerator, or on ice for at least 1 hour. Immediately
before serving add the champagne.
1/3 cup sugar
1 orange
2 bottles of white rhine wine
1/2 bottle of champagne
