PUDDING:
2 cups milk

1 stick butter or margarine

Ingredients:
4 cups coarse bread crumbs
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs slightly beaten
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 seedless raisins
1 tsp cinnamon
1 egg
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup whiskey
Cook butter and sugar together in a double boiler until mixture is very hot, thick, and sugar
dissolved. Add egg quickly and beat. Cool slightly and add whiskey. Serve hot or cold over
pudding.
Scald milk and pour over bread crumbs. Cool and add remaining ingredients, mixing well. Pour
into a 1 1/2 qt casserole. Place casserole in pan of hot water (1 inch deep) and bake a 350
degrees for 1 hour, or until a silver knife inserted into pudding comes out clean.
