1 cup milk, scalded
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 packages yeast
2 beaten eggs
4 1/2 cups flour
1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 cup pecans and raisins
Mix the milk, sugar, and salt together and cool to lukewarm. Add yeast and beaten eggs, then flour. Knead till smooth and elastic, not sticky. Place in greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let rise until double in size. Push down and let rise until double in size. Push down and let rise 10 minutes. Meanwhile, melt 1 stick of butter in small pan. Mix together the sugar, cinnamon, pecans and raisins. Roll pieces of dough to the size of walnuts, then roll each in melted butter, then in sugar mixture. Place each ball in a greased angel food cake pan in staggered rows until all dough is used. Let rise and bake in 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes.
