Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
1 1/2 cups butter flavored crisco
3 eggs
2 Tblsp milk
4 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp soda
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
6-8 oz. chocolate chips
6 - 8 oz nuts
Sift the flour, salt and soda together in a medium sized bowl. In a large bowl, cream the sugars and shortening together. Add the milk and eggs one at a time. Add the vanilla, then gradually add in the sifted ingredients. Add in the nuts and chocolate. The dough should be leaving the sides of the mixing bowl and be like a big mass. Keeping the chocolate chips in the refrigerator helps the dough to form a mass. Use arounded teaspoon to drop the dough onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 350F for 15 to 17 minutes. Cool on a wire rack and store in a cookie jar. Makes 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
