12 slices of bread, crusts removed
1/2 Cup swiss cheese, shreaded
1/2 pound sharp cheddar cheese
1 pound bacon, fried & crumbled
6 large eggs
3 Cups milk
1/2 tsp salt
small can sliced mushrooms, drained
Arrange the bread in two layers in an 11 x 7 inch baking pan. Top with grated cheese and the crumbled bacon. Beat the eggs, milk and salt in a bowl until well blended. Carefully pour into the prepared dish. Sprinkle the top with mushrooms. Cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours. Bake at 350°F for 50 - 60 minutes, or until the center is just set. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
