Texas Chocolate Sheet Cake

 

Cake

125 g margarine 2 beaten eggs
1 C. water 1/2 C sour cream
1/4 C. cocoa 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 C. self raising flour 1 tsp. vanilla essence
2 C. sugar 1/2 C. oil
1/2 tsp. salt  

Boil margarine, water and cocoa in saucepan. In a bowl mix flour, sugar and salt, add contents of saucepan and beat with whisk. Add beaten eggs, sour cream, baking soda, vanilla essence and oil. Pour into a lamington tin and cook at 200°C (400°F) for 15 - 20 mins.

Frost with icing while still warm and in the lamington tin.

 

Icing

125 g margarine 4 T. milk
4 T. cocoa 4 C. icing sugar

Boil margarine, cocoa and milk. Then add icing sugar. Frost cake while still warm and in the lamington tin.
