Herb Chicken and Rice Dinner

This is a variation of the chicken and rice dinner. Out of the two, I prefer this recipe.
Ingredients
onion
1/2 cup rice
chicken breasts, cut in strips
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 tsp Italian seasoning
Cooking
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease or spray bottom of casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Chop onion and put on bottom of casserole dish.
- Pour rice over onion.
- Arrange chicken pieces on top of rice.
- Mix cream of chicken soup with the water, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Pour over chicken.
- Cover casserole dish and bake 60 minutes at 350 degrees.
For a different taste, try cream of celery soup or cream of mushroom soup instead of cream of chicken.
