Host a Sushi Hound party in your home. Sushi-making for
the home cook is fun, delicious, nutritious and saves money. Your guests
will have a great time and learn how to make:
- Sushi rice
- Futomaki (fat sushi rolls, usually with several ingredients)
- Norimake (smaller sushi rolls, usually with one ingredient)
- Temaki (cone-shaped hand rolls)
- Nigiri sushi (hand-formed rice ovals topped with one item)
- Gunkan sushi (rice ovals wrapped in seaweed "boats" with
item inside)
Sushi Hound will also share guidelines for selecting fresh fish and
give suggestions for optional ingredients.
Your guests will be entertained and enjoy eating their
delicious creations. They will go home with sushi-making skills and a booklet that
includes:
- Recipes for the styles of sushi made at the party and more
- List of equipment necessary for making sushi at home
- Glossary of terms used in the sushi world
- Local sources for ingredients and equipment
