Ingredients
2 cloves garlic
1 fresh hot red chili
2 tablespoons chopped mixed fresh herbs
1 can (14 1/2 oz/400 g) crushed tomatoes
juice of 1 lime
salt and pepper
Method
Crush garlic, and seed and finely chop chili.
Combine garlic, chili, chopped herbs, tomatoes, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a saucepan.
Bring slowly to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
