Ingredients
1 clove garlic
1 c low-fat cream cheese
2/3 c sour cream
2 tbsp chopped fresh mixed herbs, such as parsley, chives, rosemary, thyme
1 tbsp lemon juice
salt and pepper
Method
Peel and crush garlic. Into a bowl, put garlic, cream cheese, cream, herbs, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Whisk ingredients together until thoroughly mixed. Cover and leave dressing in a cool place 30 minutes before serving to let flavors develop.
Adjust seasoning before serving. Serve with fresh salad leaves, raw or cooked vegetables, a pasta salad, or a beef salad.
Makes 1 cup.
