Napa Cabbage

- Description
- The celery cabbage is native to China where it has been consumed for thousands of years. It is similar in shape to romaine lettuce and pale green to greenish-white in color. The most common varieties are the Napa and the Michihili.

Stir-Fried Napa Cabbage with Pasta
1/2 cup olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, finely minced
1 head Napa cabbage, shredded
2 tablespoons sugar
8 ounces spiral noodles, cooked
Salt and pepper to taste
In a large frying pan, heat olive oil. Add onion and garlic, stirring constantly until tender.
Add cabbage and stir frequently until cabbage is limp and turns a bright green. Sprinkle with sugar
and continue to cook until cabbage begins to brown slightly and is tender crisp. Toss with noodles.
Season to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper. Serves 4.
