CARROT HALWA
Carrot - 1/4 kg Milk - 1 cup Sugar - 3/4 cup Powdered cardamom - 1/2 tsp Ghee - 1/2 cup |
Method:
Scrape off the skin of carrot.Grate it.Add sugar and cook on medium flame,turning over constantly.Cook till the carrot gets boiled and then add the cardomom and ghee.Cook till the ghee separates from the mixture.Serve hot. |

NAYANKATAR
Maida - 2 cups Sugar powder - 1 1/4 cup Baking powder - 1 tsp Artificial colour - a pinch Cardamom powder - 1 tsp Ghee - 2 cups |
Method:
Mix all the above ingredients with 2 cups of ghee.Knead carefully with finger and leave the dough for 2-3 hours. Prepare small balls with slightly flattened top.Bake the balls carefully in oven till crisp like biscuits. |
