You will adore these, they are delicious!
(A)(B)
1/2 to 3/4 lb of deboned chicken
1/2 cup of flour
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon of pepper
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon of oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 eggwhite
1 tablspoon cornstarch
(C)
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon oil
Cut the chicken into small cubes, In a small bowl, except for chicken, mix all
the
ingredients in the (A) list. Now add the chicken, stir to cover it well with the
mixture, cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes. Can be prepared several
hours
ahead of time, and left in refrigerator until you are ready to use.
Stir together all ingredients in list (B)
Mix water and oil in the (C) list and incorporate into your stirred ingredients.
Add your chicken and cover well with this batter. Fry in medium-high hot oil,(8
-10)
(at a time) until crispy and golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
These are really very good! A favorite with my family. Serve with Sweet & Sour
or Cherry sauce, or whatever sweet and picante sauce you prefer.
