Jack DeBoyce.

While I don't have a lot of info on the Ghiorzos, I have even less on the DeBoyces. In documents, the name is often mispelled as "Boyce" or "DuBois." It appears that some of the DeBoyces decided that the name really was a mispelling of the French name "DuBois" and adopted this surname for a period of time. Those in favor of the "DuBois" spelling based their claim on research conducted by "an aunt." We have yet to uncover this long lost researcher and cannot verify her claim. The name DeBoyce is uncommon, but there are DeBoyces living in the United Kingdom. It seems reasonable to assume that the "De" before the surname was added long ago as a title, since people knighted for service to French royals added this prefix to their names.
