Miscellaneous Notes

• Miserere 1994
• Appearance. Full, ruby.
• Nose. Good, quite big with fruity (cherries, redcurrants and lingonberry) aromas. Also a touch of bitter almond and cardboard-box(?!?).
• Palate. Medium body, beginning to mature, softened tannins and soft acid. Cherries, raspberries and some dry tones of Sherry. A little bit "hollow" in the mid-palate but quite long , nice aftertaste. A different but nice wine.
• Terroir de Tuchan 1996
• Appearance. Deep, intense, bright, purple.
• Nose. Very fine, big nose with peppar, all spice, butter and leather.
• Palate. Fullbodied with marked tannins and acid but enough fruit to balance. Dark berries and a touch of light toasted oak, dark berries. Well-balanced. A long aftertaste with christmas spices.
• Cornas, Chante-Perdrix 1995
• Appearance. Opaque, slightly hazy, purple-rimmed.
• Nose. Undeveloped, closed bouquet. Dark fruits and some white peppar.
• Palate. Young (probably in the tunnel) , fullbodied with marked tannins and acid. Once again dark berries (blueberries). Some smoke and peppar was also found. Medium long aftertaste.
