Mo's Stable Life - English

This page is devoted to English riding, encompassing Eventing, Hunt Seat, Dressage, Show Jumping. I hope to include many links to useful sites as well as photos of a few of the horses I have had the opportunity to ride.

The cross country phase of 3-day eventing with Bad Skipper (Skeeter) at the Howard County Horse Trials in Maryland. Skeeter was half Quarter Horse - half Thoroughbred. He loved to jump, but he was difficult to ride and collect. He was owned by Pat (mom#2) - the lady I used to ride for in Maryland, and he and I did everything from Hunter Shows to Eventing to Fox Hunting.

Stadium jumping phase of 3-day eventing at Fair Hill in Maryland on the Grey Mare. The picture to the right was taken before Dressage at Fair Hill.
This is Ruby, a Thoroughbred mare I had the opportunity to ride one summer. Her dressage was impeccable, as was her jumping - as you can see by how tightly her front legs are tucked.
Killarney is a Quarter Horse/Belgian cross. You can see by his size which parent he most resembles. He lives up in Maryland, and is ridden by Pat mainly in the hunt field. These pictures were taken when he was about 4, and he was already about 17.1 hands.

This is Dyno - the Appaloosa stallion owned by Sharon at 4T Acres.
