The Hot Links

Lee Roy had been searching for just the right band, one that he could record with and also tour with. It seems he has hit the jackpot with the Hot Links as they have been in the studio recording along side Lee Roy for his last two albums, as well as being on the road touring with him.

The only other artist that I know of who tours and records with his own band is Dwight Yoakam.

Using the Hot Links while in the recording studio has made the last two albums "We All Get Lucky Sometimes" and "Every Night's A Saturday Night" spectacular in the respect they sound as close to a live show as a person could get. They also helped Lee Roy in producing the latest album as well.

The Hot Links consist of:

James Pennebaker on guitar

Lynn Williams on drums

Stephen Mackey on bass

Kevin McKendree on keyboards

If you've not heard these guys live, you don't know what you've been missing. If you want to hear some jammin' tunes, then check out the latest album "Every Night's a Saturday Night" and listen especially to the last track "Mama Screw Your Wig On Tight" it will surely knock your socks off!!
