The Match:
Double J's country theme plays and he comes out in his red and white blinking outfit with the Roadie and Elizabeth. Jarrett holds the ropes open for Elizabeth when they reach the ring, and then he motions everyone aside so he can strut down the center.Fireworks go off above the ring, as pink and white lights play across the fans, and the Hart Foundation music starts to play. Down the aisle comes the Hitman Bret Hart, wearing his sunglasses, singlet, and Calgary Hitmen leather jacket, behind him is the Anvil, Jim Neidhart who is wearing street clothing, and sunglasses. Then Brutus Beefcake, who is wielding a sharp looking pair of hedge clippers... and then the Ultimate Warrior... who looks ready for ANYTHING! They all high five fans on the way to ringside. When he reaches ringside, the Hitman takes off his jacket and gives it to the Anvil, Bret also takes off his glasses and gives them to a young girl who is holding up a sign that reads, "I (a big heart) Bret (another big heart).
The Hitman then rolls into the ring, and stands in a corner holding his hands out to the fans.
Bret then turns around and circles Jarrett... and ties up with him. Double J comes out with an armwringer, then he drops down and hooks Bret's legs and drops HIM down too. Double J tries to lock him up, but Bret sits out and spins behind Jarrett. Double J starts to stand up... but the Hitman takes his legs out from under him....
Bret forces Jarrett down onto his stomach and pulls one of Jeff's legs under his own bodyweight... and crossfaces him! Jarrett strains for the ropes... but is out of range.
Bret kicks his legs up in the air and brings down a knee into Jarrett's leg, while maintaining the cross face. He kicks up again... ANOTHER knee smash! Bret pulls back hard on Jarrett's head.
Owen Hart and the British Bulldog start to come down the aisle. The Warrior and Brutus look at them threatningly and Owen and the Bulldog just stay halfway down the runway and watch.
JR: No doubt they're out for no-good. It's not like THEY need to scout out the Hitman!
Bret lets the hold go and comes up to his feet. As Jarrett gets up... The Hitman hooks him... SWINGING NECKBREAKER!!! Bret comes back up to his feet... pushes Jeff to the ropes... DROPKICK!!! From behind, Bret pulls Jarrett up... and head butts him into the small of the back. He then wraps his arms around the champions waist... and drives him into the turnbuckles!!!
Bret drops to one knee... and FIREMAN CARRIES Jarrett over onto the mat!
JR: The Hitman's moves are so crisp... they're RIGHT ON!
Sarah: Like he said... the Excellence of Execution!
Bret scissors Jarrett's head, squeezing the air from him. Bret punches at Jarrett's head and face, while holding the scissors. Jarrett manages to flip over onto his hands and knees and pop out! Bret rises up... does a front facelock... and goes for a suplex....
Jarrett blocks it! He reaches up... grabs one of the Hitman's arms.... and armbars him!!! The Hitman drops down, hooking Jarrett's head... and flips him over with another Fireman's Carry! Both wrestlers quickly make it to their feet....
Bret shoves his head up under Jarrett's chin.... drops down.. JAWBREAKER!! Jarrett holds at his chin... and Bret hooks him... BLACKJACK!!!
JR: OH! HIS OWN MOVE!!
The Hitman doesn't go for a cover, he pulls up Jarrett so they are facing each other. Bret wraps his arms around the Intercontinental Champion... BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!!! The fans split their cheers for Jarrett and Hart!
Bret next pulls up Jarrett... and pulls his head between his knees... and starts up with a Piledriver..... NO! Jarrett blocks by holding on to Bret's legs! The Hitman pumps again... NO! Jarrett slams a punch into Hart's kidney... and stands up! Bret is doubled over... and JARRETT... goes for a PILEDRIVER!!!!
Bret BLOCKS HIM!!! Hart goes for a leg.... and flips Jarrett over! Jarrett spins over to his stomach to avoid the Sharpshooter, and Bret drops on him, yanking back a chickenwing. With it, he pulls Jarrett up and spins him back around for the Piledriver...
JR: He wants this move! Can he GET IT!?
Jarrett AGAIN blocks it! Bret pulls Jarrett up and takes a swing at him in frustration! Jarrett ducks under it. Bret pulls Jarrett in... ATOMIC DROP!!! Jarrett bounces a bit in pain... and is easy prey.... PILEDRIVER!!!
JR: He GOT IT! He had to go through many moves.... BUT HE GOT IT!!
The Hitman, seeing Jarrett down... starts to go up to the top rope.....
