(I don't like having this at the top of the page but this is where Geocities
wants it to be. Having it here is suppose to stop the "popup ads".
So, We shall see if it does stop them or not)

Green Eyed Granny's
American Red Cross Pages

I have chosen to do these pages about the American Red Cross
from a Volunteer's point of view. These pages tell about my
first contact with the Red Cross, how I started being a Volunteer
with Red Cross, things I do within our local Red Cross Chapter,
explanations of the Disaster Functions and Training to the
different disasters that I have been assigned to "work" on.
Also, to maybe do a little bit of "educating" the public about
the many different aspects of the American Red Cross.

This background was chosen because of the roses on it.
If I could, I'd give one to each and every person that gives
their time to Volunteer for something. I chose the "ROSE" as
my link to this page for that reason also. It doesn't matter
if they volunteer to Coach a Kids' Sports Team, at a Hospital,
a Crisis Center, a Senior Citizens' Center, to do a Car Pool
or for a Volunteer Fire Department, Ambulance Service or
any other places that needs or depends on Volunteer help.
They are also for the many American Red Cross Volunteers.
I would like to give a "SALUTE", a big round of "APPLAUSE"
and say a great big "THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!" to all the
VOLUNTEERS ALL OVER THIS GREAT BIG WORLD

MY RED CROSS DISASTER LINKS

I have started with telling you about my first contact
with the Red Cross and how I came to Volunteer with them.
Red Cross Disaster Page tells about what I do within the chapter
and the many different functions that are needed to help
when a disaster strikes. It also takes many Volunteers

I have put them in order by date that they happened.
I have several more to do that aren't on here just yet
As I get each one done I will add them by date order.
