(Knoxville, Tennessee) Peggy Franck, CEO/President of the North America Country Music Associations, Int'l. is proud to announce that the arrangements for the Third Annual NACMAI Convention of the year 2000 are complete. The Competition and Showcasing will be held March 7 thru March 11, 2000 and the NACMAI Hall of Fame and Awards Show will be Sunday, March 12, 2000.
The Competition and Showcasing will be held at Pigeon Forge's Premier Family Hotel, the Music Road Hotel and Convention Center in Pigeon Forge, TN. This allows for all activities of the Competition and Showcasing to be held at the same location as the Headquarter Hotel. On Friday, March 10, 2000, we will have seminars and there will be more information issued at a later date. Room reservations are being taken at this time at a rate of $57 per night. You are encouraged to make your room reservations early as there are only 163 rooms available.

The Third Annual NACMAI Hall of Fame and Awards Show will be held at Governor's Palace in Sevierville, TN. on Sunday, March 12, 2000, at 1:00p.m. This state-of-the-art theater just opened this past August and is only 1.3 miles from the hotel. Located in the Governor's Crossing entertainment and shopping complex, the Governor's Palace has been named the "Entertainment Crown Jewel of the Smokies". Tickets will be available to order shortly after August 1, 1999, and we urge you to obtain your tickets early as once again it is reserved seating. Tickets are $30 per person and may only be purchased thru the Governor's Palace.
