The Volunteer Appreciation party has been tentatively scheduled for the 30th of April...

If this year is anything like last year...
Well I just can't wait.

The practice round on the 9th...
Ah...The practice round on Sunday....
I went to get autographs...
for my daughter who couldn't be there...
I had the guys sign bright pink golfballs for her,
cuz... pink is her favorite color!
And the guys, being the sweethearts they are,
signed them without flinching.
Except Dean.
He flinched.
But he had just jammed his finger on his golf club,
so it was a flinch of pain,
not because he didn't want to sign the ball.*smiles*
His finger is better now, I hope!
I think Dean is an absolute sweetheart...
I got my picture with him... =)

I even caught up with Mark this year with no problem!
My... he has beautiful hair! *L*

The reason the pics of the guys teeing off above are blurry
is because somebody wouldn't get out of my way
while I was taking the pictures, *grinz*
so I had to scan the pics and crop a head out of them
and enlarge them... which led to the blurriness.
Is Blurriness a word?
I dunno.
Oh well... on with the MAM...

Then after the tournament, it was time for my volunteer assignment...
My friend Debbie and I were assigned to transportation. We were driving the celebs and VIPs from the hotel to the concert and back and then to the party later. Lemme tell ya... you have NEVER met a nicer bunch of people. I got hugs and kisses from golfers, singers, football players, and other people that I have no idea who were...
I even got picked up (literally!) by a guy named Scott... (Kewlly!)

If you ever get the chance to see Hootie and the Blowfish perform live...
DO IT...
You WON'T regret it! I promise...=)
