The Volunteer Appreciation party was the 5th of April... There was a practice round on the 11th... Then I spotted Darius... *grinz*

He is really nice! He was at the appreciation dinner and I went up to talk to him, and he autographed my Hootie Hat, and gave me a hug, too! I don't think I've calmed down yet... and that was days ago... *LOL* Oh my...*dreamy theatrical sigh*
Ah...The practice round on Sunday....
I went to get autographs... Beautiful day!
Warm, sunny, nice breeze....
I met Dean, He is an absolute sweetheart...
*smiles* He was playing with my daughter and all... she's 3 now,
she was only 2 then... she STILL talks about him...=)
He signed my hat and I
got my picture with him... =)
(He's my Dude...!!!)
So... I
went up to him and said Hi...
He is also an absolute sweetheart.=)
I asked him to sign my hat too, which he did.=)
He was in a bit of a
hurry, so I said
"Can I get
a picture with you real quick?"
He was already in the golf cart, but he
smiled
and said "real quick" and got back out,
put his arm around me
(!!!!!Swoonz!!!!!)(Oh
my... *Grinz*)
smiled for the pic...
...then took off.
I was in heaven.
I
couldn't catch up with Mark the whole day... *L*
Quick and evasive little booger. *L*
Soni had already signed my hat at the appreciation dinner...
So then at the tournament, I got a bunch of signatures from a bunch of
people who I have no idea of who they are. *L* (AKA: golfers)
and I caught up with
Mark!! He signed my hat too...
Then after the tournament, it was time for
my volunteer assignment...
My friend Debbie and I were assigned to
transportation. We were driving the celebs and VIPs from the hotel to the
concert and back and then to the party later. (Kewlly!)
I have many more pics to add from the MAM...
But I have now been up for 41 hours straight
(Havin too much daggone fun!)
and I really need to get some sleep!
I promise I will finish updating this page within a couple of days... =)

AKA: Hootie and the Blowfish
I saw them in concert again last night (May 29, 1999) at the
Pontiac Freedom Weekend Aloft hot air balloon festival.
They put on an AWESOME show, as usual... and they were joined by
"Shades of Grey" another great band from Columbia, South Carolina
and "Cravin Melon" which as you know is a Rockin group from Greenville, South Carolina.
I had the best time! *grinz* Even though I got lost
and it took me 6 hours to make a 3 hour trip...
It was still a great night!
I am PLANNING on seeing them again on
Friday, June 4th in Knoxville...
but I'm not 100% sure I can pull that one off...
I have to work Friday and I don't normally get off til 330PM...
It's about 5 hours to Knoxville with no trouble...
I hope I can make it...*Grinz* I think I'm turning into a groupie!
They do put on a Killer live show!! If you ever get the chance to see them live...
DO IT...
You WON'T regret it! I promise...=)
