An accomplished singer, guitarist and keyboardist, and a jack of all trades with other instruments, it is difficult to pigeon-hole him into one particular genre or style or role. Growing up in traditional Newfoundland and in the church gave him a diversified background in not only Country & Western but also celtic and Newfoundland music, gospel, blues, and rock.

Since arriving in Ontario, Ward has released an album with a prior group and has 2 more in the works. He has performed at the CNE and many OCMA showcases and has had several appearances on Breakfast TV (City Tv-Toronto). He's performed everywhere from St.John's to Vancouver and most of the a-circuit country bars and saloons in Ontario

Every artist has a passion, every artist has a muse. But what makes an artist tick inside? For Ward, the answer is songwriting. He has placed songs on well over 30 albums for various gospel, Country and rock artists in addition to having put out 4 of his own with a 5th in production now. New to the mainstream country market of 'upper canada', this latest work is his first as a solo country artist.

Also a well-known music producer of 70 albums and counting, he currently owns Comfort Cove Sound which operates one of Hamilton's many fine recording studios where he writes and records commercials and jingles for many clients including GM Canada and Labatt breweries.

September 1999 marks the release of the first single from his forthcoming eponymously title debut CD. With the gracious support of country radio, the words of others may just come true...
