This page is didicated to my youngest daughter
Cheri (re-run)  J.
When she was in highschool she wrote this poem
it had a few rough edges so together we fixed it
and later put music to it.
I'm sorry you can't hear the music.

She has sense written a few more
but we won't get to read them here.
(at least not yet)
So without furthur ado

My Rainbow
Somewhere there is a rainbow.
That never fades or dies.
Somewhere there is a someone.
With warm and careing eyes.
With a love that's everlasting.
And arms that hold me tight.
To be there when I need him.
Beside me every night.

The promise of the Rainbow.
That lasts eternally.
Is like the love of someone.
Who's there somewhere for me.
Someday I'll find my rainbow.
And my dreams will all come true.
Our love will last forever.
My Rainbow dear, IS IT YOU?

Your love seems everlasting.
Your arms hold me so tight.
You're always here beside me.
You make my world seem right.
My everlasting rainbow.
You've made my dreams come true.
 Our love will last forever.
My Rainbow dear, IS YOU.

The promise of the rainbow.
That lasts eternally.
It is the love of you dear.
You're always here for me.
Yes! Today I've found my rainbow.
That never fades or dies.
Today I've found that someone.
With warm and careing eyes.

The promise of the rainbow.
It's there within your eyes.
