Lonely

Right back there I saw lonely
I saw me
I saw you
and I saw lonely
As much as I hated it
I felt it
I needed you
yet I grasped lonely
I held on to it and shook it
like a confused parent
shakes a child
And I hated it
and I hated myself
and I needed you
