Dear Lord,

I need to take a moment to gather
all of my thoughts together...
This week has been so full
of blessings
and struggles,
in reverse awareness,
and I want to remember it all.

Lord. You are so good.
I am continually amazed at
the works of your hand...
the people I see,
the sunsets,
the trees and oceans...

First... I need to pray for those who have touched my life.
You know who they are,
and who I am thinking of,
and I lift them all up to you.
For the dearest of friends,
I ask you to cherish her and keep her,
renewing her mind and her spirit...
For the welcoming love of those that I have recently met,
thank you so much, Lord...
Your love has shown through them and touched me
profoundly.
For my mother, and father, and sister...
Lord Thank you.
They are so wonderful, and I am so grateful for your
choosing all of us to be together in this life.

Second... I need to thank you for everything you've done...
This week alone!
I have the perfect dress because of your love and grace...
courage made me try it on,
and I am so blessed!
You have told me in no uncertain terms what I need to do,
and I have finally come to terms
with how frightened I am.
Thank you for the song, Lord...
Thank you for my voice, Lord, that I can play guitar, Lord,
that I can teach people how to be better musicians,
that I can play trombone...

Lord...
thank you for convicting my heart that I
truly am unique,
and special,
and for reminding me that I have
no need of being jealous, or envious of others,
for your plan for me is perfect!
And in doing so,
you told me to use those gifts you have
given me,
and Lord...
THANK YOU!!!

I am so excited about tonight!
Avalon and Anointed and Nichole Nordeman are going to be
at the Civic Center,
and friends from New Life will be there,
and FRIENDS from Vineyard will be there
and I cannot wait to praise you
with thousands!!!!! of other people!!!
Please, Lord...
Just fill the Civic Center with your presence, Oh God,
and dwell in each of us!!

I love you, GOD!!!
Your daughter,
Meredith
