I believe this is the way Jim Morrison's grave looked soon after he died.

And this is how it looked after someone spent some money on a "head" stone.

This is my cousin Carol - laughing at me ! On the way to Pere Lachaise (the cemetery that Jim is buried in) I said, "how are we going to find it - the cemetery is so huge!" She responded with, "ah - don't worry - there'll be people selling maps or something." I was saying, "ya right! There'll be neon signs and everything - what are you talking about - at a cemetery?" --- and sure enough - we were walking up when at a newsstand - they were selling maps, pictures, even souvenirs!

This is what the grave looks like now.The "head" stone was stolen, and after the movie, someone purchased a new stone. There had been alot of graffiti in the past - so a gaurd was posted there 24 hours a day by the time I arrived. There were approximately 20 people there when I showed up.

This is a grave that I just stumbled upon. My Mothers maiden name is DeLalande and I'm hoping to find out if this is a distant relative. I am named after Alexis DeLalande - my Great-Great Grandfather.
