The Alien who lived in the Sheds...is a cautionary tale of a disabled person's search for aliens...

In the Summer of 1978 when I was a student at Surrey University in the UK, I heard rumours of an alien living in some sheds in a wood not far from the university. Since I was a UFO nut (...still am) and eager to meet aliens, I decided to gather some student mates together for an investigation of this story....

In our team, we had a physicist, an engineer, a bio-chemist, a sociologist and me, a so-called psychology student.

Oh-oh! What is Ham looking at?

What we finally uncovered was probably stranger than any ET tale....

However, the full story wasn't revealed until 1997 when I decided to reopen the case for a television documentary I had been commissioned to make.

As part of the TV show, I created a reconstruction of the infamous Roswell "Alien Autopsy" footage, which ends as a rock video with me performing "Earl Grey, Let the Space In (so You Want to Meet an Alien)" - a song I had previously written in 1996.
