Disabled actor, co-founded with Richard Tomlinson, the Graeae Theatre Company - Britain’s first and currently premier professional national theatre of disabled performers (1980).
In 1998 he had his debut at the Royal National Theatre, playing the master storyteller, Rashid in Salman Rushdie'sHaroun and the Sea of Stories
First professional film producing and directing commission from the BBC, his independent film company SIRIUS PICTURES produced The Alien Who Lived in the Sheds, 30 minute mix of documentary and drama, screened 24th September 1997.
