Now all four roommates seemed to have men in their lives. Cindy was very happy with William. Monicka was ecstatic with George. Jeanette and Brandon were magnificent. Finally Auriana was flying high with her husband, yet no one really knows how it came about.
To fully understand her story, we have to go back all the way to the beginning of our soap opera. This would be before Auriana first left, before Cindy met William, and before Auriana became a pilot.
If you remember the night Auriana left for her pilot's papers. She was having the exam with Marcus (your regular GQ type of guy) and Omega (with sultry good looks). At that time, Auriana and Omega were in tough competion with each other. Anything that Auriana did, Omega had to do better. Marcus and was thier instructor.
On the day of her departure, Jeanette, Monicka, and Cindy saw her off at the airport. The girls said their good-byes, and Auriana was shocked to find herself getting tears in her eyes, but she hid them well enough.
After a few with Omega getting tested, they recieved a radio call from the airport they were to land in Mexico. They needed the plane to transport some cargo right away. So Marcus made them land and told them to get a room at the motel at the air port. The only thing left was one room, and Auriana and Omega had to share the room with the double bed.
Marcus turned to them and asked if it was OK if they stayed that night
"Well its fine by me." Auriana announced.
"Yes me too." Omega called out, just as Jason waved his thank you and ran off.
"Well I guess it's just you and me." Omega looked down at Auriana.
"Great!" Auriana said sarcastically.
Later that night, after having a horrible dinner at the motel, the two decided to actually get something better in their stomach. They found a bar like restaurant close to the motel.
They were having their usual arguing conversations when a frantic looking girl ran into the bar. Since it was empty except for the cook and the bar tender, she ran straight for Omega and Auriana. She started speaking rapidly in Spanish, and Omega looked at Auriana to translate. "She is saying to hurry up and help her." Auriana looked at Omega, the confusion obvious in her face. The girl jumped on Omega's lap when a large man with a shotgun came running in.
"Oh shit!" Omega whispered as Auriana nodded.
The man pointed at Omega and started shouting. Auriana immediately got up and started to yell back in Spanish to the man. Omega got up while the girl still hung on him.
"What?s going on?"
"He thinks you impregnated his wife!"
"What?" Omega tried to get the young girl off of him. "Tell him I didn?t do it.&"
"I would not believe her!" The man said in perfect English.
"Sir, I've never met your wife before, she just ran in here."
"Sure she did. That?s why she?s hanging off of you right now."
"She?s hanging off of him right now because she is scared to death of you, you idiot." Auriana clarified.
"Can we not call the guy with the shotgun any names!" Omega looked at Auriana, as she just shrugged.
"That?s still leaves us with the problem that I don?t believe you!" The man said again.
"Well, he can?t have been with her, we just arrived her! Besides he?s my boyfriend." Auriana said.
"Her fiancée actually and she?s is very protective of me, she doesn?t let me out." Omega added.
"Yes I treat him kind of like a dog." Auriana smiled at the big man.
"Well in that case, you to are going to get married soon, right?" The man asked.
"Yes." Omega yelled out. "With in a couple of days."
"Well, that?s wonderful!" The man said with a devilish smile. "Juan, Louisa!" The cook and the bartender who have been hiding came running out.
"You too are going to be witnesses to this couple's wedding." The man smiled at his two friends.
"What?" Auriana and Omega screamed at the same time.
"I'm a priest, and I?m going to marry you two now!"
"You can't do that!" Auriana was frantic.
"Why not?"
"Well, well, we are having a big wedding in a week, we can't married now."
"So just don?t tell anyone you had a first wedding now."The man said, sounding calm all of a sudden. "Just look at it this way, you can get married now, or get shot, you choose."
"Um please choose the married now thing, please!" The bartender pleaded. Omega took Auriana aside and just reminded her that since it?s a shotgun wedding, which they could get it annulled as soon as they got to the US. They came back hand in hand and agreed to the wedding.
"Ok sir, go ahead."
The Wedding Night...
And the wedding took place. A short while later, they found themselves alone in their motel room, and it was full of the junk that was in the plane.
"Oh great, we can hardly move!" Auriana?s exasperated voice rang out.
"Oh, and there is only one bed." Omega looked around. "OK, I guess we?re sleeping together."
"What? No!" Auriana said stepping to look at Omega.
"I'm not sleeping on this floor, have you looked at it?" Omega pointed the dirt.
"I think we can handle being in the same bed for one night."; Auriana reasoned.
"Why, are you saying you are attracted to me?" Omega stepped closer to Auriana.
"What no!" Auriana stepped back, but she hit the bed and fell on it.
"Oh, I like this, your are hot for me." Omega smiled down at her.
"Oh, get over yourself. I?m not hot for you, you big dolt."
"Fine, then there will not be a problem." Omega jumped on the bed beside her.
"OK, fine!" Auriana took of her jacket and went inside her small bag to grab a long shirt.
"What are you doing?" Omega got up quickly.
"Changing."
"Um no, you can't wear that to bed." Omega pointed to her shirt.
"Why not, I'm not wearing these jeans. Auriana looked at him. "Wait a minute, you're the one who's attracted to me!"
"Huh? I don't? think so lady!"
"OK, then there will not be a problem." Auriana smiled sweetly at him. She changed and came out of the bathroom to find him only in his boxers. It was a sight she was not prepared for. She had always found in attractive, but this was a true test of her wills.
Omega was also not prepared for Auriana's entrance. She was only wearing a long shirt, but his attraction to her just seemed to have doubled. He was not sure how he was going to keep his hands off her during the night. And it was a long night for both of them, tossing and turning. Each one would yell at the other for some reason other then the true cause of their frustration. Finally Omega got up in the middle of the night.
"I can?t do this!" Omega yelled in the darkness, as Auriana turned on the lamp.
"What is wrong with you." Auriana asked in frustration.
"I can't sleep beside you tonight. Don't you think that the past four months have been hard on me already, to see you every week, with someone new? How do you think that makes me feel?"
"What?" Auriana whispered not sure what he is saying to her.
"Don't you understand, I like you. No I don't just like you. I've been falling for you since the first moment we met. And you, what do you do, you just flirt with every other guy! God I hate that about you!"
"Flirt with every other guy, I've been waiting for you since the start!" Auriana got up also to yell at him.
"What? You're interested in me also?" Omega stepped on the bed then down again beside Auriana.
"Well, yes." She said quietly now.
"Good!" Omega said a moment before he kissed her.
The next day, Marcus came bursting in the room to pick up his two students, only to find them both sleeping in the same bed, with their cloth all over the floor.
"What's all this?" Marcus said in a shocked tone, knowing how they hate each other. Auriana and Omega woke up in a start. They finally focused on Marcus.
"It's OK Marcus. Auriana and I are married." Omega said as he looked at Auriana and smiled.
The next two months, Auriana and Omega did not get an annulment. They decided instead to try to date each other. In those two very short months, thier love grew and flourished into the marriage. Hence the married couple Auriana and Omega.
