Network drafted twill on 16 shafts, no repeats in threading or treadling--this draft was made specifically for this piece. The design you see comes from areas of weft-emphasis twill (1/3) contrasting with areas of 3/1 twill. The warp was dyed in dyepots before placing on the loom, and the weft is undyed.
