Silk & Wool Scarf
Here's a scarf I made in August, 2002. It is double weave, with one layer of raw silk while the other layer is merino wool from New Zealand in both warp and weft. The wool felted when I washed the scarf, to make a soft fog-like area in the valleys of the fabric.
