Wild Cherry and Ceramic Tile Chess Board (August 1995)

This Chess Board is made of wood from a Wild Cherry tree that
I cut down. The logs were allowed to air dry for nearly a year
before sawing it into rough boards and another 3 years before it
was planned to size to make a night stand. This piece was made
out of some of the scraps some years later.
