BIOGRAPHY
Menno always loved to go fishing in lakes and creeks but would always fish from the banks. One time nephew, Norman Hiebert stopped by and asked Menno if he would like to go fishing. Dropping everything he was doing at the time, he ran inside and got his fishing pole. However, when he came out to the driveway and saw Norm's boat, he said, "Oh no. I'm not going fishing in a BOAT!" Norm somehow persuaded Menno to go with him and that day Menno got his first boat ride ever at age 82.
