Underneath the April Rain
One day ere May had brought one wonderful flower
'Twas in a stummering shower I saw her pass by
I stared, I dared to be an impudent fellow
To spread my big umbrella, tell her that she was welcome
We walked, we talked and thought no more of the weather
We stayed so close together we didn't get wet
The rain in vain dripped on attempting to drown us
but drops that fell arround us found us quite unobserving
April rain dripping happily, once again catch my love and me
Beneath our own umbrella cozy, the world will seem gay and rosy
Drip, drip, drop while we're strolling down through the stunning town
And since it's turning colder,
I'll hold her, enfold her, under the thunder with love and the rain
