Once I was lost
My soul once enslaved
My once blinded eyes
You came and humbled me

As I rise from my bed
Lay your body down
Bathe yourself in the cool waters
Inhale the sweet fragrance
The dancing of the leaves
The humming of the crickets
I will send you a cloud

My feet firmly planted

I was bound to this world
Shackled with chains
Until I read Your Word

How You sacrificed Yourself
By dying on the Cross for me
With your love
Unconditional and true
Touching me in places

You strengthened my soul
Though my flesh may be weak
I always know

I will not be alone
When it is Your name I call
More than I deserve
Teaching me things without You
I would have never learned
Or hard to understand
I have Faith because I know
You will not leave nor forsake me
In the midst of Your plan
Overwhelmed by pain

Illuminating my darkness

Why do You love me so?
I am rich beyond compare
No matter what I lose in my life

In the soft subtle breeze
The beautiful songs of the birds
That echo from the trees
And the buzzing of the bees
If you allow yourself to hear them
They can set your mind at ease
For each tear that you cry
Until the clouds are full
And your eyes are dry
To wash away your sins
For it is with this water
That New Life begins
Across the sky
With colors to replace the gray
That blankets your eyes
