Mr. Idiot Stories: (Lisa M.) episode #2 Stay in the car
and take things as they come
You get to thinking about what’s happened in the last hour. You suddenly
have a question in your mind. How did your parents know that was Mr. Idiot’s car? (Mr.
Idiot is what you came up with for Mr. Idiot if you don’t know.) You ask your parents
that question and they wonder why you want to ask the question. Suddenly, you have this
urge to look back at the car following you. You do, and as you do, you wish you hadn’t.
You see a bright orange car that has a crazy-looking driver in it. The windshield is even
painted, except for a small round circle on the windshield so the idiot driving it can see
ahead. You ask your parents again what Mr. Idiot’s car looks like. This time they pause
and then decide to tell you the answer to the question you asked. Their answer to you is
that it is bright orange, covering all the windows including the windshield except for a
small, round circle in the middle in which he can see out of. You scream then looking
back again you notice Mr. Idiot’s car suddenly lunge forward and almost (just miss) hit
your car. He backs up again for a second try. He misses again. bad aim there, Mr. Idiot,
you think. Just as he starts for a 3rd time you mention this to your parents (especially your dad since he’s the one driving.) Then you notice that it’s starting to rain. Your dad
looks into the rear view mirror and then his face turns pale and he whispers something to
your mom. Your dad’s not too good at whispering, so you overhear your parent’s
conversation and find it quite interesting (and scary): you hear that Mr. Idiot had
summoned a bulldozer because your dad sees Mr. Idiot pointing at some vantagepoint.
Your dad spotted what it was and quickly lurched away from its path and the bulldozer
went right over a cliff. (Didn’t I tell you about the cliff before?) Now your only and own
worries are about the car behind you, which unfortunately has Mr. Idiot in it. Your dad
notices that Mr. Idiot is following you tire-by-tire, so all your dad reasons he has to do to
get rid of Mr. Idiot is to go right toward a strong tree and then pull away real quickly.
(Didn’t I tell you about the strong tee by the edge of the cliff?) (That tree has another
purpose besides using it to jump up and backwards. Whoops, sorry wrong choice. I got
mixed up.) Anyway, enough of all that talk, now let’s get down to business. You notice
Mr. Idiot putting on a crash helmet. Your dad is now in the path of the tree. Mr. Idiot is
now coming up. You notice a sword in his hand. “Dyrnwyn,” your dad shouts out of the
blue. “The great sword of power. We must get it.” You notice your dad is too distracted
to notice that you are about to hit the tree in which you want Mr. Idiot to hit. You shout
this to your dad and he quickly lunges away. Despite how hard Mr. Idiot tries, he goes
right into the tree. He did not have enough traction and he was going way too fast before
he can do anything. You give your dad five as Mr. Idiot goes flying into the tree. All of
a sudden your dad pulls over to the side of the road as he tells you that you guys have just ran out of gas. “Dyrnwyn!” Your dad screams. “We must save the sword.” But even as
he says this you seem to feel that wind suddenly pick up and dark clouds covering the
sky. This is not good for the home team! You & along with your family have to take a
choice. You have to act fast, whatever you do. You know your choices are few:
1. Try to get Dyrwyn (the sword) before Mr. Idiot uses it against you.
2. Ignore Dyrwnyn and try to find cover.
3. Wait in the car for something to happen.
