SUMMR'S SILLY SELECTIONS

STRANDS THAT HAVE GONE ASTRAY

Hairdo's differ in many ways,
Some short, some very long,
Some curly, some in waves,
Some straight, some weak, some strong.
Some are sprayed until they shine
Like plastic coated bubbles.
But, it's the strands that have gone astray
That really bring me troubles.

Q-TIPS

Two fluffy balls of cotton
At both ends of a stick
Used to clean a babies ear
are the best that you can pick
They have some extra padding
So you know they'll never hurt
As you gently clean away
Any grime, or food, or dirt
They really come in handy
If you have to "scratch" your ear
They can tickle little toes
Or wipe away a tear
So, remember the little Q-Tip
When you go into the store
They really are quite handy
There's lots you can use them for

THE TELEPHONE BOOK

I've counted all the Anderson's
the Jones' and the Browns
I've checked each Smith they listed
in almost a dozen towns
I found a lot of Miller's
And just as many Green's
But, not a single Rozick
was ever to be seen
After hours of careful searching
the many things in every nook
I realized how bored I was
to be reading a telephone book
