Penuche Sauce

  1. 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  2. 2/3 cups corn syrup
  3. 1/4 cup butter
  4. 3/4 cup evaporated milk

Mix brown sugar, corn syrup, butter and half the milk. Bring to a boil and cook to 230°  F. Remove from heat and add remaining milk. Serve over cakes or other desserts.
