Breaks Interstate Park at any time of the year is a peaceful and
wonderful place. It is located on the Kentucky-Virginia state line. I
believe there is a secret healing power in those beautiful mountains. Many
recreational activities can be enjoyed in the park, such as hiking, paddle boats, mountain
bike rental/riding, horseback riding, swimming pool,
bluegrass shows, and camping for those that really want to get back to
nature , just to mention a few. The cottages are very nice too. As for myself, I prefer to stay in one of the lodges
that has a view no picture can do justice from the room's balcony.
You can also relax and enjoy a delicious meal in the Rhododendron
Restaurant and Conference Center that overlooks the canyon below. It is a great place
to share with your friends like I did. For more information
